Photographs of my father somewhere in India and with his driver and two of his clerks
The first photograph of pilot and Phoenix Magazine photographer was taken by my father and the second is of him, in  the same plane, taking an unofficial flying lesson 25,000 feet over Bombay, the plane is believed to be a DC3 Dakota
The same Phoenix Magazine photographer as above pictured by a Spitfire at Rosan Repair Depot, Leatherhead, Surrey
Two photographs of my father in fighter planes at an airfield
All the Phoenix Magazine staff photographed in Calcutta. My father is sitting in the lorry which has had its screen smashed during the Indian Riots of 1946
The photograph opposite was included in the May 1946 edition of the Phoenix Magazine and is of my father (standing) saying goodbye to soldiers of other nationalities which were involved in the war in the Far East
