The output for 1960 was declared as 3,067 tons, with manpower at 31 December 1960 being five underground and 3 surface workers. At that time the estimated amount of saleable reserves of coal was stated as 32,400 tons.

The mine ceased working and was abandoned on 31 March 1968.

From memory going back to the 1960’s I recall that the installation included a steam fired vertical boiler which was housed in a corrugated iron building.
